Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year!!
We are starting the school year off with a bang, and are moving full speed ahead with new programs and great music! Last night we had our very first worship service at Wesley, and it was fantastic! The live praise band sounded better than in the 4ish years I’ve been here. It is completely legit now. I can’t wait to see what goodness lies ahead next week! For our worship services we are doing a study of Romans. I am super excited about this, and can’t wait to dive in. I’ve always thought of Romans as being a great book about the love of God, but truth be told, I’ve never read the whole thing. I am so excited for us all to see what’s really in there and what God has to reveal for us in His word. I remember as a new student at Wesley, wanting to have a place to dive into the Bible and what it really means to be a follower of Christ. We have done that in various ways over the years, but I think that Worship is going to be the best thing since sliced bread. Worship is going to be a great addition to our schedule, and I hope that you will join us and see what it’s all about on Mondays at 8 PM.
I would write more, but I’ve got to get set up for Pasta Lunch before people get here!
